Joint mobility package
Ten sessions of CPM (Kinetek), currents for pain and muscle function, and guided exercise — for restoring joint mobility after an injury or surgery.
The joint mobility package combines 10× Kinetek (continuous passive motion), 10× TENS, 10× Russian current (KOTZ), and 10× individual therapeutic exercise (30 min). The program is aimed at gradually restoring range of motion and joint function.
How the package works
The Kinetek device moves the joint through a continuous, controlled motion when active movement isn't yet possible or advised, preventing stiffness while tissue heals. TENS eases pain, and Russian current (KOTZ) stimulates muscle contraction around a joint weakened by a period of rest.
Once range of motion and basic muscle function improve, individual therapeutic exercise takes over the emphasis — the program is built as a progression from passive mobilization to active strengthening across ten sessions.
The number and schedule of sessions is set by the therapist after an assessment, and can be adjusted during the series if the plan isn't giving the expected result.
Who it's for
Frequently asked questions
Is the Kinetek device painful?
No, it's a slow, controlled motion within limits set by the therapist — the goal is preventing stiffness, not causing pain.
How quickly does mobility return?
It depends on the type and extent of the injury or surgery — the therapist tracks progress across the ten sessions and adjusts exercise intensity accordingly.
Not sure this is the right package for you?
A short phone conversation will help us suggest the right fit. If you only need a couple of sessions, an individual service may suit you better than a package.
